I thought the one-on-one training was excellent, as I was able to learn in a relaxed environment whilst working within a structured training plan. The course covered all aspects of Face Yoga as a subject, as well as the approach towards teaching it.
I especially enjoyed the detailed study of the bones of the skull and muscles of the face, which was made incredibly easy to grasp considering the subject matter. There was always time for questions (great or small), and plenty of time was given to prepare for the practical and written assessments.

The most important thing I learned during the Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method teacher training was that you don't need to put too much pressure during massage to achieve the desired results. I thought the one-on-one training was excellent, as I was able to learn in a relaxed environment whilst working within a structured training plan. The course covered all aspects of Face Yoga as a subject, as well as the approach towards teaching it.

#1 -Training materials you can follow at your own pace
As a business owner and a mother, I know how busy life can get. That’s why I’ve designed this Face Yoga Teacher Training course to be as flexible as possible.
When you join the course, you’ll be sent an electronic copy of the comprehensive training manual. This contains everything you need to learn including over 60 Face Yoga techniques and you'll discover how to teach them to others.
The manual is accompanied by links to videos that demonstrate the techniques and help you master them.
You’ll keep your access to these materials for life. There are no deadlines – you can work through the course at your own pace and in your own time.
We recommend a minimum of 11 hours of study, but there’s no maximum time and you can always revisit the lessons to keep your knowledge fresh.
#2 - Guidance from an experienced super trainer
To ensure you feel confident and empowered on your journey to becoming a Face Yoga teacher, you’ll have the support of your dedicated super trainer as you study the course materials.
You can opt to study with me or with one of our experienced Face Yoga super trainers. Either way, your trainer will be on hand to answer questions, provide support, and make sure you get the best from your training.
If you prefer more dedicated support, you can also choose to have one-to-one training with one of our super trainers. You’ll still receive all the training materials to study at home, but you’ll also have a 7-hour session with your super trainer to help you master the techniques.
You’ll also benefit from our online Facebook community of past and present students, so you have company on your journey as you develop your Face Yoga skills.
#3 - An internationally accredited certification
I want you to have confidence that this training is the highest quality possible, so I’m thrilled that it is accredited by both the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine and the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.
As a result, completing the course gives you an internationally recognised certification to showcase your skills and knowledge.
When you’ve worked through the course materials, you’ll complete a short written assessment to confirm your knowledge. You’ll email this to your trainer, who will mark it and then contact you to book in the practical exam.
Don’t panic about the word exam – this isn’t as scary as it sounds! You’ll simply teach a mini version of a Face Yoga class, running through some of the techniques you’ve learnt on the course. This gives you confidence in your skills and helps you feel ready to take your new knowledge out into the world.
Once you’ve completed both the written assessment and the practical, you’ll receive an email with your diploma and will be officially qualified to teach Face Yoga.

Module 1 -
About Face Yoga
Our first session presents the different strands that make up the Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method and explores their benefits. We’ll look at the scientific evidence for using Face Yoga to lift, tone, and smooth the face, answer some common questions, and discuss the combination of modern science and ancient wisdom that make The Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method so unique.
Module 2 -
Facial Anatomy
Understanding the anatomy of the face is vital to teaching Face Yoga. So, in this lesson, you’ll learn about the major muscles of the face and neck and their roles. We’ll also look at the bones of the face and cranium and discuss the structure of the skin.
Module 3 -
The 10 Minute Upper Face Workout and the 10 Minute Lower Face Workout
In the third lesson, we begin our deep dive into the different Face Yoga techniques. We’ll work through two 10 minute workouts that you can use to form the basis of your Face Yoga sessions. You’ll learn how each technique benefits the face and get tips on how to adapt these workouts for different purposes.
Module 4 -
The 5 Minute Workout
We’ll continue to learn different techniques and how to put them together by looking at a shorter Face Yoga workout that you can teach to clients who don’t have time to do a full Face Yoga session every day.
Module 5 -
Facelift Massage
In this lesson, we turn our attention to self massage techniques that lift the face, boost the circulation, and release tension from the muscles. We’ll run through 29 different facial massage techniques that you can teach clients to do themselves as well their benefits.
Module 6 -
Acupressure Points on the Face
Acupressure is an ancient Chinese and Indian system of applying pressure to specific points on your body and face. Many of these points are found on the face and acupressure is an important part of Face Yoga especially for wellbeing. In this lesson, we’ll look at the main points and their benefits.
Module 7 -
Energy Work for the Face
In Face Yoga, we work with the prana – also known as Qi in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This subtle form of energy can be thought of as your lifeforce or vitality. Working with the prana / Qi is the icing on the Face Yoga cake and helps you bring deeper wellness benefits to your clients. This lesson explores the principles of energy work and presents some techniques for you to use in your sessions.
Module 8 -
Neck, Back, and Shoulder Exercises
Our faces are, of course, connected to the rest of our bodies via our necks, backs, and shoulders. Tension in these areas can have a knock-on effect on the face, so the course includes this session on exercises to relax and release tightness from the upper body.
Module 9 -
Stress and the Face: The Mind, Body, Soul, and Face Connection
Face Yoga lifts and tones the face naturally, but its benefits also go much deeper. This lesson looks at the connection between the face and stress. We’ll look at how stress manifests itself in the face and body and discuss how to support stressed clients with relaxation and wellbeing tips.
Module 10 -
Teaching Face Yoga
Our final lesson brings together everything you’ve learnt and shows you how to use your new knowledge to teach others. You’ll learn how to conduct a consultation with clients, how to structure your classes, and how to put together a personalised Face Yoga programme. We’ll also talk about how to turn your Face Yoga skills into a business, what options there are for teaching, and how to decide on pricing for your sessions.

An Internationally Recognised Certification

Commonly Asked Questions
How long will the course take to complete?
There are no time limits and no deadlines – you can work through the course materials at your own pace. We recommend a minimum of 11 hours of study, but you can split this however you like. You might work through the course intensively over a few days, or do a little at a time over many weeks. You can always pause and come back if needed.
What form does the teaching take?
We want the course to be as flexible as possible, so the teaching takes place through our distance learning materials. As well as a comprehensive and detailed digital training manual, you’ll have access to many hours of video content.
If you prefer, you can also opt to do individual learning with your super trainer. This is a 7-hour one-to-one session that will usually be done via Zoom.
Do I get to keep the materials?
Yes! You’ll get lifetime access to the course materials. They are provided in digital format to make them easy to access.
How is the course assessed?
At the end of the course, you’ll complete a short written assignment which takes around 45 minutes, which will be marked by your trainer. You’ll then do a 10-minute practical exam over a 30 minute video call.
What is the difference between doing the distance learning with Danielle Collins or doing it with another super trainer?
Whoever you train with, you’ll do the same course, go through the same assessment, and receive the same certification. All of our super trainers are highly trained in the Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method and are excellent teachers. Of course, each person has their own personality and experience, but that’s the only difference.
If you train with me, I’ll mark your written assignment, conduct your practical exam, and be there to support you through the course. If you opt for one of our other trainers, they’ll do all these things for you.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes! Once you’ve successfully completed the written assessment and practical exam, we’ll email you a diploma to show that you are a certified Face Yoga teacher. You’ll also be able to use the Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method logo on your website and advertising literature and we’ll list your details on the Face Yoga Expert website.
What equipment do I need?
Face Yoga doesn’t require any specialist equipment. Most techniques simply use your hands. However, we do recommend having the Fusion by Danielle Collins Pro Lift Moisturising Serum at home to use on your skin as you practice the techniques.
You may also want to expand your practice by bringing in facial massage tools like rollers and Gua Sha tools. You can find these and the serum via my shop. You can also opt to combine your Face Yoga Teacher Training with our Facial Gua Sha Teacher Training Course.
What experience do I need?
This course is open to anyone. You don’t need any previous experience – we’ll teach you everything you need to know about Face Yoga and how to teach it to others.
If you go on to teach Face Yoga to paying clients, you’ll need to make sure you have the appropriate insurance.

We aim to make teacher training as accessible as possible. As a result, this course is already affordable compared with similar trainings and we do not offer additional discounts.
How is this course different from other trainings?
I’m a great believer in listening to your intuition. If your gut instinct is that this course is right for you, then it should be perfect! However, I know you will want some more information to back up that gut feeling.
This course is based on my expertise and experience from almost 18 years of teaching Face Yoga to people around the world. It also draws on my passion for education and my first-class honours university degree from Bath Spa University in Education which has proven invaluable in creating and running this Face Yoga certification. I am also a Yoga teacher, face massueuse, Reiki teacher, Relaxation Therapist, Nutrition Coach, Crystal Bowl Sound Healer and I’ve won awards for my work with Face Yoga. How much work will I get once I complete the course?
This is really up to you and how much you would like to do after the course. We give you some tips on how to decide what you want your Face Yoga teaching to look like during the training.
Teaching Face Yoga is a truly flexible career. There are many different ways to teach, and you can really design a life/business/career/job that suits your lifestyle, goals, personality and dreams. The course gives you all the skills you need to be a great Face Yoga teacher and if you decide to take the monthly Continued Professional Development training you will learn even more skills.
However, the important thing to remember is that success is down to you. We’ll give you the knowledge you need to be a great Face Yoga teacher, but it is up to you what you do with that knowledge and how you build your business.
