BLOG 274: IF YOU ONLY DO 3 MASSAGES FOR YOUR NECK EVER, MAKE IT THESE!
Jul 02, 2024Obviously I love a whole variety of neck massages and have been sharing these for 19 years, but if I had to give you just 3 massages for the neck area to promote healthy skin these would be it.
1. Gently glide your fingers from behind your ears to your collarbones (you can do this both sides). You want to use really gently touch (working with the skin rather than muscle) to encourage lymphatic drainage. This will aid your face and necks natural toxin removal system to encourage healthy glowing skin.
2. Pulse all your finger tips on your collarbone. This further aids the lymphatic drainage.
3. After applying some product to your skin (I use Fusion by Danielle Collins Pro Lift Moisturising Serum) use slightly deeper pressure than before and massage upwards. It still needs to be fairly gentle as the skin is delicate here, but it can be deeper than the previous two massages. This encourages a natural lift of the muscles and boosts blood circulation.
Do each one for around a minute and combine with deep breathing, some neck lifting exercises and good posture for best results.
