BLOG 230: 6 WAYS TO BOOST YOUR MONEY, MINDSET, AND MANIFESTATIONS IN YOUR BUSINESS

In eighteen years of building a successful wellness brand, I’ve picked up some tricks and techniques – and I love to share these insights with all of you to help you in your own business journeys.

So, this blog post is dedicated to some of the ways you can boost your money, mindset, and manifestations in your business.

I’m going to cover a wide range of areas here – everything from how to get clear on your business direction to social media tips to finding calm in times of stress.

Whether your business is well established or just starting up, I hope you’ll find something here to help and inspire you. These are all tips I use myself regularly, so they are tried and tested.

1. USE THE MAGIC WAND TECHNIQUE

This is one of my favourite techniques to teach when I’m doing business coaching. It is great at any time when you are wanting to take the next step in your business but is especially good when you are first starting out and are trying to decide where to start.

This technique aims to help you get really clear on what you want to do with your business. To do it, grab a piece of paper and a pen, or your computer, or your phone. Then, imagine that you have a magic wand you can wave that will grant you an ideal day, week, or month in your business.

Write down exactly what that looks like. You can be as specific as you like but the key is to remember you have a magic wand. So, you can ignore that little voice that is throwing up all sorts of objections and doubts. Just write down your ideal.

Then, you can start to reverse engineer that vision. You don’t need to know every step on the path straight away, but you can work out what your first step is and then do it.

2. LISTEN OUT FOR MAGIC NUGGETS

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you’ll know that one of the things that sets me aside from many entrepreneurs and business coaches is that I am strongly guided by my intuition. Without a doubt, listening to that little inner voice has made a huge difference in my business and in my life.

Your intuition will be giving you little magic nuggets of advice all the time. But many of us are so busy and stressed that we forget to listen.

Once you become more tuned into that inner guidance, you’ll realise that those little magic nuggets are a wonderful tool to help you make decisions in your business. Sometimes they show up as thoughts that just pop into your head from nowhere. Sometimes they are more like a feeling in your body.

You don’t want to go searching them out, but you do need to make space to listen when they come. Which brings me onto my next point…

3. REST

When you are feeling stuck or unmotivated in your business, or you are stressed or struggling to connect with your intuition, the way to overcome this is to rest.

I know this sounds counterintuitive – if you are feeling unmotivated and struggling to get things done, it might seem strange to intentionally do less.

But I’m talking about a very specific form of rest. This is mindful, active rest. So, instead of scrolling social media or watching Netflix, this might look like going for a walk in nature or doing some meditation or breathwork.

This is the sort of rest that takes you out of your stressed, fight or flight response and into the parasympathetic nervous system – your rest and digest response.

When you feel properly calm, rested, and nourished in this way, you start to rediscover your joy and excitement. You’ll start to have new ideas and feel motivated to take the next steps in your business. 

4. USE THE THREE ES

I promised you some social media tips, so my next two are both for when you are feeling stuck with your social media and don’t know what to post.

Social media is such a valuable tool for connecting with your audience, building a community, and making sales. I’ve used it for years and now have over a million followers across all my channels. It is an important part of my business success.

When it comes to using social media for your wellness business, it’s important to show up authentically and offer content that helps people. To do that, I like to use the idea of the 3 Es – Education, Entertainment, or Emotion.

Each of your posts should do one of these three things. So, it might provide useful information (education), or it might give someone a moment of pleasure (entertainment), or it might share something a bit emotive that lets others know they aren’t alone (emotion). 

5. EMBRACE SHORT FORM

Still thinking about social media here, another barrier to getting the most out of your social media is knowing what format to use.

There are now so many different options – photos, stories, short-form videos, long-form videos, etc.

I think all these formats have a time and a place, so it is good to mix it up. But short-form videos are having a real moment right now and you’ll usually find that you get the best engagement from this type of content, especially on Instagram – the algorithm is heavily weighted towards Reels right now.

When I say short form, I mean any video under a minute. They are easy for people to watch and get to the point straight away, so make sure you are using Reels as well as other forms of content.

6. FIND WAYS TO CALM YOUR MIND

For my final tip, I want to look at what to do in those moments when you are feeling stressed and worried. I have a wonderful technique that really helps to calm your racing mind and bring you back into balance. 

Of course, this can be useful generally in life, as well as in your business.

To do it, hold one hand up, palm facing away. Use the index finger of your other hand to trace up the side of your thumb while you inhale, ideally through your nose. When you reach the tip of your thumb, trace down the other side as you exhale.

Continue up and down each finger, inhaling on the way up and exhaling on the way down. It is a really simple breathing technique but can be amazing for helping you feel calmer and less stressed.
